She attended Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Art History. Jeannie then earned her Master in Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree from the University of Washington and worked as a Medical Librarian at Confluence Health before joining WVC Libraries.
