Who can use the library?

The WVC Libraries are open to the public.

We primarily provide circulation and reference services to WVC students, staff, and faculty. Printers and computer stations, study room reservations, interlibrary loans, course reserve items, films, and media/digital equipment privileges are restricted to these patrons.

Limited library services are available to community members, who may borrow books, access campus WiFi, and use library spaces on a walk-in basis.

Well-behaved children may visit the library under direct supervision of a guardian.

Are you a shushing library?

We are not a "shushing" library; however, some areas are more conducive to group or quiet study, and our study rooms are not sound proof. We ask that patrons be considerate of the focus and privacy of other library users.

Please talk to a librarian if you need help finding an appropriate library space for your needs.

Can I eat or drink in the library?

Food and drink are allowed in the library, so long as patrons are respectful of library materials and spaces.

We understand that accidents happen, but please alert us immediately about any spills so we may take prompt action.
