Study Room Policies
WVC students or employees may reserve one study room per day for up to 4 hours.
- To claim, please arrive within 10 minutes of your scheduled start time.
- To change or cancel your reservation, please contact the library, or follow the link in your confirmation email.
We cannot accommodate same-day reservations after the library has opened. Please make your reservation prior to 8 am.
Community patrons are unable to reserve study rooms, but are welcome to use an open room during times of low traffic.
Walk-ins Welcome
An open door generally indicates that a room is available. Please check the posted schedule for any upcoming reservations.
If a reservation has not been claimed within 10 minutes of its start time, the room will be made available to other patrons on a first-come basis.
How to Use
Our study rooms are not sound proof. Be mindful of your neighbors, and cautious about broadcasting your private business.
Smaller pieces of furniture (beanbags, folding tables, etc) may be repositioned to fit your needs, but please refrain from moving couches. If you find the arrangement will not accommodate your group, please talk to library staff about alternative locations.
When you are done using a study room, we ask that you tidy the space, turn off any fans, and leave the door open.
Don't forget to bring your photo ID!
